Every family at Frankie's World has a story. Here are a few of theirs, in their own words.

“When you have a child with a medical diagnosis, worrying about things like the proper care for his needs is the biggest fear, and Frankie's World understands those needs. It was a godsend. My grandson was cared for, he was loved, and all my worries just melted away.”

We found Frankie's World through the hospital, right after my grandson was diagnosed. I had never even heard of a medical day care before. We had tried traditional day cares, and time after time they would tell us they understood his needs and then call me to come pick him up because it was more than they could handle. Frankie's World was the first place that could simply care for him, exactly as he was.

I had three children and a baby at home to care for, and I needed to work to keep our family going. We didn’t live in Philadelphia County, so at first, I worried the distance would be a problem, but transportation was available that would cross county lines to pick him up and take him to and from Frankie's World. That made all the difference, and it gave us some normalcy during a very trying time.

What I would tell another family trying to decide is this: take a chance. Frankie's World understands children with medical needs, and your child is cared for and taught at the same time, nurses and aides keeping him safe, teachers helping him learn. It matters so much to have staff who understand what your family is going through and who bring real compassion to the work they do. In the beginning I was nervous, but the staff was always on top of everything, and if anything happened they let me know right away. That honesty and transparency is how my trust grew.

My grandson was with Frankie's World for ten years. He loved going. He knew he was cared for, and he was always happy to be there. He loved the proms, the dancing, the singing, being surrounded by people who cared for him. Frankie's World was a godsend, and I am forever grateful. ~ Nya B.

This is the best medical daycare in Philadelphia. My baby went here for 2 and half years and we don't have any complaints. The stuff is amazing from the manager to the caregivers to the teachers. I'm a nursing student but because of them I didn't have studying problem in nursing school. Thank you frankie's world. ❤❤❤❤ ~Fatima D.

What an awesome place for families to know that their children will be taken care of by qualified staff members. This is such a pleasant atmosphere. It is warm and welcoming. I have nothing but great things to say about Frankie's world. I just love seeing the smiles on children's faces and watching the staff interact as if it's one big happy family. For any parent who has a child with special medical needs they can be assured that Frankie's World will always have their child best interest at heart. ~ Darryl M.

My son does not attend Frankie's world every day, but when he goes, he gets very excited! Usually, he won’t go with other people if I have him, but he's quick to leave my side when we arrive. The staff has been very nice to my wife and I. Our son loves the nurses and the aids there. I have not had a single concern or complaint since my son started there. I would recommend Frankie's World to anyone who has a special needs child. ~ Andre W.
