The Clinical Nurse Manager serves as a key member of the Frankie’s World Management Team and is under the direction and supervision of the Administrator. All clinical staff (i.e., RN’s; LPN’s; and Aides) report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager, who is responsible for the supervision of said staff. Along with the duties and responsibilities of Management within Frankie’s World. The Clinical Nurse Manager is held to a high standard of professionalism. Good leadership principles will be demonstrated through positive role modeling behaviors for staff including, but not limited to: attendance, timeliness, positive interactions with children, families, staff, referral sources and visitors, as well as a strong work ethic.


  • Assure the timely completion of all patients’ Plan of Care (485) and 30-day summaries

  • Coordination of medical record, including the assurance of all paperwork requirements maintained for patient charting

  • Conduct/coordinate chart audits as needed

  • Coordinate case conferencing

  • Participation if IFSP and IEP meetings

  • Provide direct patient care as needed for adequate staffing of center including opening, closing

  • Consultation with families, physicians, and other professionals

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures

  • Implements new policies and procedures and assures proper implementation

  • Staff development, including assistance with orientation and training programs

  • Assist with evaluation of employees with in input from the Administrator, DON, and/or Executive Director

  • Staff competency evaluations

  • Compliance with all federal, state and local regulations

  • On-call supervisor as needed

  • Participate in potential employee interviews upon request

  • Participation in meetings such as but not limited to Safety and PAC as requested

  • Feedback using open communication with Administrator, DON, Executive Director regarding issues and concerns

  • Report directly to the Administrator and/or Executive Director regarding issues and concerns

  • Other duties as assigned by the Administrator and/or Executive Director


  • Licensed registered nurse in the state (PA)

  • Three years experience as a professional nurse in pediatrics with 1 year administrative/supervisory
